Jets in Au+Au and p+p
D0-tagged jet studies with the AI-based unfolding tool OmniFold; inclusive jet cross-section measurements at √sNN = 200 GeV.
Experimental particle physicist. Jet physics, calorimetry, AI-assisted analysis.
I am an experimental particle physicist working at the intersection of heavy-ion physics, detector science, and AI-assisted analysis.
My current research lives inside the STAR collaboration at RHIC — D0-tagged and inclusive jet measurements, AI-based unfolding with OmniFold — and within ePIC at the future Electron-Ion Collider, where I work on the backward hadronic calorimeter and user-learning programs. Earlier, I spent six years inside HADES at GSI/FAIR, with the electromagnetic calorimeter as my home: calibration, assembly, operations, and a doctoral thesis on neutral-meson production in Ag+Ag at 1.58 A GeV.
Outside the wire, I build small AI tools and bots — most visibly SciBot, an AI assistant for long-term access to RHIC knowledge — and I help organize workshops and onboarding for early-career scientists.
